This inspector identifies the filled level of transparent and semitransparent containers and whether the containers have been capped or not.
Light emitted from an incandescent lamp is radiated through the container under inspection, and its image displayed on the light receiving surface through a lens. The light receiving surface has several photo detector cells that are used to identify the level of the liquid. Once a container is fed into position the photo detector cells detect the light from its image and transmit signals to the control board. The control board verifies the signal transmitted from each photo detector cell against a sequence and then determines whether any overfill/underfill has taken place in a fraction of the time in which the container passes through.
Cap detection takes place via a proximity sensor, with the detected signal being transmitted to the control board. The control board makes simultaneous overfill/underfill and capped/uncapped decisions.
The control board is equipped with a touch panel through which the various settings and the type of product required in the inspection can be registered, and the status of the inspection confirmed. If a product is determined to be non-conforming the control board transmits a rejection signal to the removal unit in excluding it from the production line.
<Comprised of detection unit and control board>
Utilizes a unique optical real image method in the detection unit. The control board is equipped with a touch panel to ease control. The detection unit and control board are separate constructions, thereby ensuring versatility in installation. No other wiring is required than being connected to a power supply.
<Easy maintenance and adjustment>
The logic is sequence is simple with the operational status being displayed on the touch panel. Maintenance and adjustment are easily implementable through reading the display.
<Almost no running cost involved>
An incandescent lamp, practically the only consumable article required in the equipment, is a commercial product and very inexpensive.
