An EKI/EMI sensor is a steel strip positioning sensor of the EMG unique electromagnetic inductive type.

This sensor can be installed and used in any position on a payoff reel, steering roll or tension reel (mechanical armless link).

Features

Both the single end detector (EKI) and the both end detector (EM) include a built-in movable sensor in the electromagnetic induction sensor section as the transmitting/receiving unit in the aluminum framed lower section and the upper section in accurately recognizing the strip edge being fed in.
