The inductive sensor is capable of measuring the center position of a strip at the high accuracy of +-5mm in high temperature heat treatment furnace processes. Its structure is designed for long-time operation and to be maintenance free.
Two inductive sensors are positioned vertical to the pass level and symmetrically around the line center on the same plane for use in measuring the strip center position.
The sensor features highly accurate measuring performance in high temperature zones, imperceptibility against steam in furnaces, a maintenance free design, and other special features. 300 units are currently in global use.
