We shall specify effective utilization and appropriate protection and management of any information assets as the basic policy on information security in obtaining the solid confidence of society and customers by improving our company values: We promote that policy on a companywide basis.
1. Information assets
Information assets denote any information that is handled in business activities, including that received from customers, and the information system that is necessary in handling the information.
2. Target
The target of this policy shall be anyone that handles information assets such as executives, employees, temporary staff, dispatch staff from other companies, contractors, etc.
3. Operational system
We shall establish a system to protect and manage information assets, arrange various regulations based on this policy, and promote information asset security management.
4. Responsibility of executives and general departmental managers
Executives and general departmental managers shall take the initiative in practicing this policy and promoting the activity of appropriately protecting and managing information assets.
5. Responsibility of target persons
All target persons that handle information assets shall comply with this policy and any corresponding regulations.
6. Education
We shall provide the necessary education for anyone handling information assets such as executives, employees, temporary staff, dispatch staff from other companies, contractors, etc. in improving information asset security awareness.
7. Countermeasures against accidents
We shall continuously improve both physical and technical countermeasures in protecting information assets and completely preventing any information asset security accidents. However, if an accident were to occur we shall take the appropriate measures in preventing any recurrence.
