Fine differential pressure controller that precisely controls the differential pressure between rooms in pharmaceutical factories, laboratories, and hospitals in preventing any diffusion of contamination

  • Control of differential pressure between clean rooms is proving to be quite complicated. A customer is looking for easier control.
  • Room pressure control over several rooms through having branches of a single air supply/exhaust system does not work very well because of mutual interference.
  • At the every moment of the transition from operating to not operating a large change in the airflow disturbs the room pressure control, thus making a constant room differential pressure very difficult to maintain.
  • A customer wants to achieve highly accurate room pressure control even in an air-tight room.
  • When the door of a room with room pressure control is opened or closed its room pressure is substantially disturbed, and its stability difficult to regain.

Our room pressure controller (PEC-X) is the most suitable for use in resolving the above problems!

  • Highly accurate differential pressure control between rooms can be achieved merely by introducing the PEC-X into the damper on the air outlet side. If the existing system has a constant airflow valve (CAV) on the air inlet side no modification on that side is required. Only simple tasks that include connecting the power line and the room pressure detection tube to the PEC-X need to take place.
  • The PEC-X constantly controls the differential pressure between two rooms, and therefore prevents any influence from mutual interference, even in the case where a single air supply/exhaust system covers the room pressure control of a number of rooms.
  • Room differential pressure can be kept at a constant even when the airflow varies at the beginning of operation.
  • The room differential pressure can be also maintained when not operating time period with a reduced airflow.

  • The man-hours necessary in onsite adjustments can be reduced because no complicated adjustments are required at start-up.
  • The cost of any ancillary work is not necessary because no modifications on the inlet side and other special work are required.
